Grant Smith

Grant Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Grant has held positions at various companies, including 101 Ways, Zoopla, JUST EAT, Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), Next Gen DevOps, Hive (by British Gas), Electronic Arts (EA), AOL, and AOL Europe.

Grant's roles have ranged from Technical Director at 101 Ways to Principal Software Engineer at Zoopla. Grant has been involved in implementing various strategies and initiatives, such as creating a program to modernize an enterprise application, reducing lead time for changes, and transforming departments into product-focused teams. Grant has also authored a DevOps transformation framework and led operations teams, supporting high user volumes across multiple cloud instances.

Throughout their career, Grant has demonstrated proficiency in areas such as infrastructure automation, cloud strategy and migration, reducing costs through intelligent use of resources, and managing system transitions. Grant has also been involved in web development, database management, and implementing ITIL change management processes.

Grant Smith attended Lyncroft House from 1985 to 1992. From 1992 to 1995, they studied Civil Engineering and completed their BEng (Hons.) degree at the University of Portsmouth.
