Robert Davies

Robert Davies has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Robert most recently worked at 101domain.com as a DevSecOps Sr. Manager starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they were at Trilogy Education from February 2020 where they served as a Cyber Security Instructional Specialist, guiding students through a six-month cyber security BootCamp.

Before joining 101domain.com, Robert served as an IT Operations Manager at TuSimple starting in September 2021, where they implemented a career path development program and orchestrated escalation paths and procedures between six teams in the IT department. Additionally, they also worked as a Linux System Administrator at TuSimple from September 2019 to September 2021, where they designed and implemented distributed PXE Boot Installation and built workstations and servers for network infrastructure purposes.

Earlier in their career, Robert held positions at Sony Interactive Entertainment as a Linux Systems Administrator, Curves Jenny Craig as a Sr. UNIX and Storage Engineer, and ServiceNow - The Enterprise IT Cloud Company as a Security Engineer and Sr. Operations Engineer. Robert also worked at Sony Network Entertainment, Inc. as an Information Security Engineer and UNIX Administrator, and at The San Diego Union-Tribune as a Systems Administrator.

Robert began their career at Ortiva Wireless as a Network Administrator and then worked at Andrew Gerard Group as a Security and Linux Guru. At Andrew Gerard Group, they were responsible for maintaining system security and developing network security audit programs for various industries.

Throughout their career, Robert has demonstrated expertise in areas such as cyber security, Linux systems administration, IT operations management, and network administration.

From 2000 to 2001, Robert Davies attended ECPI College of Technology where they pursued a degree in Network Administration. However, no specific degree was obtained during that time.
