Brett Olsen

Brett Olsen is a highly experienced computational biologist currently serving as Staff Computational Biologist at 10x Genomics since September 2017. In this role, Brett has led the development of CellRanger software enhancements for the GEM-X product and contributed to processing and analysis pipelines for single-cell ATAC and joint scATAC/Gene Expression products. Previous experience includes serving as Bioinformatics Engineer at Invitae and postdoctoral researcher and staff scientist at Washington University in St. Louis. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Washington University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Caltech.
