Janani Sampathkumar

Janani Sampathkumar is a seasoned expert in software quality assurance and bioinformatics, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Software QA Engineering at 10x Genomics since June 2020. In this role, Janani leads the design of testing workflows for complex software platforms, drives quality strategies, and oversees the implementation of test automation frameworks. Prior experience includes key roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Affymetrix, BioTime, Inc., and Advanced Cell Technology, where Janani contributed to software tool development, genomic data analysis, and microarray product validation. Janani holds a BA in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MS in Biotechnology with a concentration in Bioinformatics from The Johns Hopkins University.
