Jeremy Lackey

Jeremy Lackey currently serves as VP of Chemistry at 10x Genomics and is also an Advisory Board Member at Axiome. Previously, Lackey was VP and Senior Director of Chemistry at Twist Bioscience, where contributions included advanced product development in genomics and drug discovery, as well as inventing a novel method for template-free enzymatic DNA synthesis. As a co-founder of Quantum-Si, Lackey established a multidisciplinary core team, led the chemistry efforts, and innovated next-generation protein sequencing methods. Additional experience includes roles at Agilent Technologies and Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, focusing on DNA microarray synthesis, oligonucleotide technologies, and drug discovery. Lackey holds a PhD in Chemistry from McGill University and a Bachelor of Science in Biopharmaceutical Science from the University of Ottawa.
