Rowan Platt

Rowan Platt has extensive experience in compliance and regulatory affairs. They previously worked as the Head of Compliance & Regulatory Affairs at 10x Banking since June 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Compliance Manager at Seedrs from July 2021 to June 2023. Rowan also served as the Head of Compliance at Dozens in January 2021 to June 2021. Before transitioning to the banking sector, they were a Senior Associate at Herbert Smith Freehills from March 2015 to June 2020, where they specialized in FCA enforcement investigations and regulatory compliance. They also worked as a Regulatory Lawyer at Lloyds Banking Group from March 2016 to February 2017, and as a Regulatory Compliance Manager at Westpac from August 2014 to February 2015. Rowan began their legal career as an Associate at Allens in February 2011 before joining the Supreme Court of New South Wales as an Associate to Justice Elizabeth Fullerton from December 2009 to December 2010.

Rowan Platt attended Macquarie University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts degree. They also completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at The College of Law Australia. In 2011, Rowan obtained a Legal Practising Certificate from The Law Society of NSW.
