Martin Volkerijk

Martin Volkerijk has extensive work experience in the field of cloud architecture and product engineering. Martin is currently working as the Senior Director of Cloud Architecture Product Engineering at 11:11 SYSTEMS since November 2022. Prior to this, they held the same role at Sungard Availability Services from June 2021 to January 2023. At Sungard Availability Services, they also worked as the Director/Product Owner of Private Cloud from April 2020 to November 2021, and as the Product Owner of Hosted Private Cloud from April 2017 to April 2020.

Before joining Sungard, Martin worked for FIS as the VP of Solution Engineering from August 2008 to February 2017. In this role, they led a team responsible for moving client facing applications to cloud-based or hosted solutions and designing the necessary infrastructure.

Martin's earlier experience includes roles at SunGard Data Systems as the VP of Network Engineering from August 2001 to August 2008, Director of Network Operations at Bridge Information Systems from October 1999 to August 2001, Director of Operations at ADP from September 1996 to October 1999, Operations Manager at ADP Financial Services UK Ltd from May 1993 to September 1996, Operations Manager at ADP Information Services Ltd from July 1991 to May 1993, Central System Engineer at ADP Information Services Ltd from April 1989 to July 1991, and Service Engineer at ADP Comtrend from January 1987 to March 1989.

Martin Volkerijk attended Technical School The Hague in the Netherlands from 1978 to 1981, where they pursued a degree equivalent to a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering.
