Catriona Syme

Catriona Syme has worked in a variety of roles over the past two decades. In 2001, they began their career as a Product Expert and Radiation Trainer at Guidant. In 2009, they took on the role of Postdoctoral Fellow at The Hospital for Sick Children. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Research Associate at the Gladstone Institutes. Catriona then returned to The Hospital for Sick Children, where they held the roles of Research Associate and Postdoctoral Research Fellow from 2014 to 2020. Most recently, they were appointed as the Head of Research and Quality at 16 Bit Inc.

Catriona Syme's education history includes a PhD from the University of Nottingham in Biomedical Sciences from 2005-2008, an MSc from McGill University in Neuroscience from 2003-2005, and a BSc from McMaster University in Medical and Health Physics Co-op from 1996-2001.
