Taras Kopets

Taras Kopets is an experienced data professional with a diverse background in software development, data architecture, and business intelligence. Currently serving as Data Lead at 1648 Factory since March 2021, Taras focuses on developing a PropTech data product aimed at enhancing property sustainability and reducing carbon footprints. As the Founder of IT-Management, Taras has created the Energyplan software to optimize energy and water consumption for clients. Previously, Taras held significant roles at ThinkTank, including Data Architect, where analytics were built from scratch to facilitate data-driven decision-making, and Senior Database Administrator, achieving notable reductions in expenses associated with database services. Taras's career includes positions at SDC, Limelight Networks, GlobalLogic, and ComArch, where advanced database solutions were developed and optimized. Taras holds a Master's degree in Software Development and a Master's degree in Organizational Management and Administration from Lviv Polytechnic National University.
