Lydia Watkins

Lydia Watkins is a highly skilled Creative Pattern Cutter with extensive experience in fashion design. Currently employed at 16Arlington since March 2023, Lydia is responsible for developing patterns for annual collections and creating made-to-measure designs for VIP clients. Prior to this, Lydia held freelance positions at 16Arlington and E.Stott, and worked as a Knitwear Freelance Pattern Cutter at Alexander McQueen. Lydia's significant experience includes a lengthy role at Brøgger, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing the development of multiple annual collections and managing the work of freelance pattern cutters and interns. Previous internships at PREEN BY THORNTON BREGAZZI, Jonathan Saunders International Ltd, H&M, and Phoebe English provided foundational skills in pattern making, design research, and technical drawing. Lydia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design and Development from the University of the Arts London.
