Maria Allen

Maria Allen has extensive experience in the field of trauma counselling and support, currently serving as Team Leader and Specialist Trauma Counsellor at 1800RESPECT Australia since October 2017. Previously, Maria held roles as a Senior Counsellor and Specialist Trauma Counsellor at the same organization. Maria also contributed to the Raise Foundation as a Youth Mentor, focusing on mentoring at-risk youth from April 2021 to October 2021. Earlier career experiences include customer support at Tatts Group and working as a Crisis Intervention Counselor at DVConnect from September 2010 to October 2017. Maria Allen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Queensland University of Technology, completed in 2010.
