Carey Smith

Carey Smith has held a variety of roles in the events industry, beginning in 2009 as an Event Coordinator/Intern at Cinema/Chicago. In 2011, they moved to Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy as an Events Coordinator. In 2013, they became the Special Events Manager at National Louis University. In 2015, they took on the role of Director of Programming at CHICAGO SCOTS, where they were responsible for the development, management, and execution of 30+ annual events, meetings, and programming for 800+ members. In 2018, they became the Manager of Customer Experience and Events Manager at Cresco Labs. Currently, they are the Director of Consumer Engagement at 1906.

Carey Smith attended Roosevelt University from 2007 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management, specializing in Hospitality Administration/Management.
