Amilcar Pereira

Amilcar Pereira is an experienced engineering professional with a career spanning over a decade in telecommunications and software engineering. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Truphone since May 2016, Amilcar has held various roles including RSP Tech Lead, Technical Account Manager, and Mobile Equipment Technology Engineer. Prior to joining Truphone, Amilcar worked at Portugal Telecom from October 2009 to April 2016 as a Software Analyst and Project Manager, specializing in SIM technology and Java Card applet development. Earlier experience includes consulting roles at PTSI and PT-Sistemas de Informação. Amilcar holds an Engineer's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the Polytechnic of Leiria and has pursued additional education at ARCO - Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual.
