MANIK KAKAR

Manik Kakar has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. MANIK is currently serving as the Chief Architect at 1Kosmos since January 2023 and also holds the role of VP of Engineering since April 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Pearson as the Director of Engineering from December 2012 to April 2020. Manik has also held positions at Scout Finance as Vice President from September 2014 to December 2015, Kinsa as Head of Engineering from September 2014 to October 2015, Bloomberg as Director of New iOS Development from October 2010 to December 2012, Smarp as Co-Founder from January 2010 to September 2012, Xigua Mobile, Inc. as Co-Founder from April 2009 to September 2012, Teachscape as Project lead/Tech Lead for iOS apps from July 2009 to October 2010, Scanbuy II as Engineering Technical Lead from March 2007 to April 2009 and Sr. Software Engineer from March 2005 to April 2009, and Parsec Technologies Inc. as a Software Developer from January 2001 to December 2003.

Manik Kakar completed their 10th grade education at St. Joseph Convent School from 1980 to 1993. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, starting in 1997 and graduating in 2001. Following this, Manik Kakar enrolled in the New Jersey Institute of Technology and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from 2004 to 2005.
