Andrew Fursman

Andrew Fursman has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Andrew is currently serving as the CEO at 1QB Information Technologies (1QBit) since February 2013. In addition, they hold the position of Director at Good Chemistry Company and Founder at Synthesis Health, both starting in December 2021.

In 2011, they attended Stanford University and obtained a Financial Engineering (MS&E PGD) degree, specializing in Quantitative Finance. That same year, they also attended the Center for Public Policy at Centrum Pro Veřejnou Politiku, where they studied the Institute on the Future of Europe. Additionally, in 2010, they completed the Graduate Studies Program at Singularity University, emphasizing Exponential Technology Studies. Andrew also pursued a Joint BA* from 2008 to 2010 at The University of British Columbia, majoring in Philosophy and Political Science. Furthermore, in 2001 and 2002, they engaged in Graduate Studies at Edinburgh Business School (UK), focusing on Economics and Organizational Behaviour. Their earlier education is not specified, but they attended Oakridge SS at some point.
