About our firm:

1SEO Digital Agency is a private-equity backed digital marketing company located 30 minutes north of Philadelphia.  Our “mission” is to enable high quality local service providers to make effective connections with qualified customers located within 25 miles of their office.  We are converting a legacy digital marketing agency into a B2B technology company that sells “marketing as a service” to local service providers.

Our entire team works from our office in Bristol, PA, but our clients have physical offices in one or more cities across the US or Canada and fall in one of three categories: home services, health & wellness, or professional services. .

Position Responsibilities:

The Systems Engineer will play a pivotal role in streamlining processes and workflows, integrating systems, and implementing automations to enhance productivity, speed, and quality of work delivered across the organization. This individual will collaborate closely with both the operations and product development teams to identify opportunities for improvement and drive strategic initiatives to optimize our systems and processes.

The successful candidate will drive significant improvements in productivity, speed, and quality of work by optimizing processes, integrating systems, and implementing automation solutions across the organization. They will play a key role in supporting operational excellence and driving strategic initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Automation Implementation: Identify areas for automation within existing processes and workflows. Research and evaluate automation tools and technologies to meet business needs. Develop and implement automated solutions to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort. Project: Implement automated reporting and analytics dashboards. Project: Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks across various systems.

Process Optimization: Analyze current processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks. Design and implement improvements to streamline processes and enhance productivity. Continuously monitor and evaluate processes to ensure ongoing optimization.

Systems Integration: Assess existing systems and technologies to identify integration opportunities. Collaborate with stakeholders to define integration requirements and objectives. Lead the implementation of integrated solutions to improve data flow and communication between systems. Project: Integration of our CRM system with marketing automation platforms. Project: Synchronization of our data warehousing solutions with operational databases. Cross-Functional

Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and product development teams to understand their requirements and challenges. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and prioritize initiatives based on business impact. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure successful implementation of projects. Project: Collaborate with the product team to enhance API integrations with third-party tools. Project: Work with the finance team to automate and integrate financial reporting systems.

Oversight of ScaleMatters Relationship: Act as the primary liaison for Scale Matters, coordinating efforts on system integrations and revenue operation functions. Ensure seamless communication and project alignment between ScaleMatters and 1SEO’s internal teams.

Required Skills and Experience: 10+ years of information systems engineering experience 5+ years of experience working with marketing automation systems (advertising systems, performance marketing systems, lead traffic management, etc.) Solid understanding of recurring revenue and subscription-based business models Bachelor's Degree in engineering, data science, or mathematics Experience managing teams at high-growth technology companies

Preferred Experience (But not Required) Masters Degree (MBA, Masters of Engineering, Mathematics or Data Science)   Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, Agile implementation  (Scrum,  Kanban, etc.) SQL, DBA, or other database management experience ERP management experience M&A or acquisition integrations experience
