Michael Seigh

Senior Vice President Finance at 1ST SUMMIT BANK

Michael Seigh has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. From 2011 to the present, they have been serving as the Senior Vice President of Finance at 1ST SUMMIT BANK. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing and managing various projects, such as new construction and renovations, physical plant, leases, insurance, and general administration. Michael also handles regulatory and month-end reporting, prepares the annual capital budget, and supervises purchasing, facilities, and courier personnel.

Prior to that, from 2004 to 2011, Seigh worked at First Commonwealth Financial Corporation. Michael held two positions during this time: Vice President, Assistant Controller - Operations and Vice President, Financial Compliance Officer. In their role as Assistant Controller, they managed the corporation's accounting operations, including accounts payable, fixed asset accounting, reconcilement processes, internal controls, subsidiary accounting, and intercompany reimbursement billings. As Financial Compliance Officer, they maintained systems to document risks and internal controls, enforced policies and procedures relating to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, managed the SOX quarterly assertion process, and trained company personnel on SOX certification software.

From 2001 to 2004, Seigh was the Group Director of Fiscal Operations at Charter Communications, Inc.

Michael Seigh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics, with a concentration in Accounting, from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown. In 2014-2015, they attended the John B. Gunter Executive Leadership Program. Additionally, they have also completed coursework at the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
