Oleksii Soliar

Oleksii Soliar has been working in the IT industry since 2010. In 2010, they were a self-employed Web Developer, developing sites with Wordpress/Joomla platforms, configuring and customizing plugins for CMS platforms, and using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript for developing Wordpress/Joomla themes. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Research Associate at the National Technical University of Ukraine “KPI”, researching the technique that evaluating the impact of electromagnetic fields on biological objects, developing proof of concept systems that digitized composite video signals from a camera, designing image processing software for calculating the area measurement in real time by using C/C++ with OpenCV, and writing a Matlab's script for data analysis. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Java Developer at GlobalLogic, working in an Agile Environment, providing story estimations, updating status in scrum calls, providing demo end of each sprint, reviewing the code and providing the Code review Comments, and preparing documentation with UML diagrams. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Senior Java Software Engineer at SoftServe, developing lightweight microservices by using DropWizard framework, implementing the messaging services using Apache Kafka to interact with external dependencies, working on REST/gRPC API based microservices, and involved in developing the module for parsing the input XML and inserting into MongoDB. Currently, they are a Senior Java Developer/Team Lead at 1touch.io.

Oleksii Soliar attended the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute'\u200b from 2005 to 2014, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering in 2009, a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering in 2011, and a Candidate of Science in Biomedical Science in 2014.
