Eden Avraham-Katz

Eden Avraham-Katz is the current General Counsel at 1upHealth. Prior to that, they were Senior Corporate Counsel and Privacy Officer at PatientPing from June 2018 to June 2021. Before PatientPing, they were Corporate Counsel at InterSystems from December 2015 to June 2018.

Eden started their legal career as a Post-Graduate Legal Intern at LiquiGlide, Inc. from September 2015 to November 2015. Eden then became the Legal Officer at IDEA: Northeastern University's Venture Accelerator from December 2014 to February 2015, where they provided advice and information on a variety of intellectual property issues including protection of copyrighted materials and trade secrets; trademark and patent eligibility requirements; and trademark and patent registration. Eden also provided advice and information on a variety of corporate issues including entity formation; incorporation; hedge fund formation; and equity and debt financing. During their time there, they reviewed a variety of contractual agreements including independent contractor agreements; operating agreements; partnership agreements; non-disclosure agreements; shareholder agreements; and product testing participation agreements.

Eden received their J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 2015 and their B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012.

Eden Avraham-Katz studied Political Science and Public Administration as their majors, and Business and International Studies as their minors at Elon University. Eden then attended Northeastern University School of Law to earn their Juris Doctorate in Corporate/Business and Intellectual Property. Last, they received certification from Massachusetts Bar Admission.
