Marissa Hughes

Marissa Hughes has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Marissa started their career as a Computer Programmer at Georgia Military College in 2007, where they implemented software solutions and worked with different offices. Marissa then became the Director of Human Resources, overseeing affirmative action plans and streamlining processes. In 2014, they took on the role of Director of Business Development, successfully launching two new campuses and forging partnerships with other colleges and universities. From 2014 to 2018, Marissa worked as the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Georgia Military College, managing a team and implementing donor relations procedures. Marissa then joined the American Heart Association as a Development Specialist, handling event logistics and volunteer management.
