Michael V Holmes

Michael V Holmes, MD PhD, is a Principal Scientist and Research Innovation Lead at 23andMe, where leadership focuses on integrating medical and epidemiological expertise into translational programs and analyzing data from a large biobank. In addition to this role, Holmes serves as a Visiting Professor at the University of Bristol and as an Editorial Board Member for the Journal Circulation. Previous roles include Associate Professor at the University of Oxford, Senior Clinical Research Fellow in Cardiovascular Medicine with the British Heart Foundation, and a member of the NICE Technology Appraisal Committee. Holmes has extensive training in pharmaceutical medicine, epidemiology, and genetics, holding multiple degrees and certifications from prestigious institutions including UCL and the Royal College of Physicians.
