Andrea Gálvez

Andrea G. is currently a PhD student at Università degli Studi di Trieste, focusing on the Paleogene Mass-Transport Deposits of the Julian-Slovenian Basins and their tsunamigenic potential. Andrea has also served as a research fellow, participating in geological surveys as part of the CARG ISPRA project. Prior experience includes ownership of a children's clothing representation business and roles as a geologist and site activity manager for various geophysical and geological investigations. Notable internships were completed at the Helmholtz-Centre Potsdam and the Icelandic Institute of Natural History, where Andrea specialized in field sampling, data analysis, and instrumentation maintenance. Andrea earned a Master's Degree in Geology from Università degli Studi di Padova between 2014 and 2017.
