April Stewart

April Stewart has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. April began their career in 2005 as a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, where they worked until 2011. During this time, they gained experience in leadership and customer service. In 2011, April worked as a Crisis Prevention Volunteer at Hotline of Southern California, where they provided support and assistance to callers in crisis situations.

From 2011 to 2012, April worked as a Records Specialist at the Santa Barbara Police Department, where they gained experience in administrative duties. In 2012, they briefly worked as a Job Coach at PathPoint, providing support to individuals in finding and maintaining employment.

April then transitioned into the healthcare industry, starting in 2013 as a Program Director at 24 Hour Home Care. April held various roles within the company, including Regional Director Community Partnerships and Regional Director, Strategy & Partnerships. In 2018, they became the Director of Government Relations, advocating for the funding and resources needed to support respite services.

In 2016, April also took on the role of Southern California Vice President at the California Respite Association, supporting the expansion and enhancement of respite services to individuals and families. April'swork focused on advocating for respite providers and maintaining funding for excellent care.

Currently, April serves as the Vice President of Strategy & Innovation at 24 Hour Home Care, a position they have held since December 2022. April'sresponsibilities include developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive innovation and growth within the company.
