Catherine Riihimaki

Research Director at 2NDNATURE

Catherine Riihimaki is currently the Research Director at 2NDNATURE Software, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this role, they were the Associate Director of Science Education at Princeton University from 2012 to 2021 and an Assistant Professor at Drew University from 2008 to 2012. In their current role, they are responsible for building and promoting 2NDNATURE applied science methodologies through research, science partnerships, presentations, publications, and funding. Catherine Riihimaki obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Geosciences and Mathematics from Williams College in 1998, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2003.
