Makenzie Garcia has extensive experience in workforce planning, compliance, and recruitment, currently serving as Director of Workforce Planning & Compliance at 2U since March 2019. Prior roles at 2U include Senior Manager positions in Global Workforce Design and Recruitment, as well as Manager of Technical Recruiting and Senior Technical Recruiter. Before joining 2U, Makenzie held the position of Lead Technical Recruiter at GoCanvas and served as a Technical Recruiting Specialist at EAB following its formation from The Advisory Board Company, where Makenzie worked as a Recruiting Specialist. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Recruiting Associate at Burnett Specialists / Choice Specialists and as a Human Resources Generalist at Southern Accents. Makenzie holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from The University of Alabama and an Associate’s Degree in General Studies from Wallace State Community College - Hanceville.
