Nate Treffeisen

Nate Treffeisen serves as the Director of Partner Communication & Engagement at 2U, where responsibilities include leading marketing and communication strategies to enhance relationships with over 200 universities utilizing 2U's online degree and upskilling technology. Previous positions at 2U include Senior Manager and Manager, where Nate developed communications for university stakeholders and managed the client communication strategy for the acquisition of edX. Prior to 2U, Nate worked at City Year as Associate Director of Advocacy and Outreach Operations, advocating for significant funding for national nonprofits, and held roles in political communications, including Communications Director for Nate Shinagawa's congressional campaign. Nate's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Society with a concentration in Public Policy from Cornell University.
