Simon Tiernan

Simon Tiernan has extensive work experience in the field of communications and public relations. Simon is currently employed as an Associate Director of Corporate Reputation at Zeno London since June 2022. Prior to this, Simon held multiple roles at McDonald's, including Head of UK and Ireland Regional Communications from February 2022 to June 2022, Head of Communications for the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland from October 2019 to February 2022, and Communications Manager for Ireland and Northern Ireland from December 2017 to October 2019. Simon also worked as a Senior Account Manager at Aiken PR from July 2014 to December 2017 and at Portland Communications from June 2010 to May 2014. Simon started their career as a Media and Campaigns Officer for NUS / Home Office at the National Union of Students (UK) from June 2009 to June 2010. Simon's early career includes serving as a Parliamentary Campaigns Manager for Barry Gardiner MP at the House of Commons from June 2007 to June 2009.

Simon Tiernan has a Bachelor's Degree in Politics and History from the University of Dundee, which they obtained from 2002 to 2006. In addition, they completed a short-term course in Business Sustainability Management at the University of Cambridge in 2021. During 2003 to 2004, they studied Economics at the University of Oklahoma.
