Rebecca Leech has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Rebecca is currently a Senior UX Designer at Vanguard, where they are responsible for designing investment and financial wellness features on the robo-investing platform. Rebecca also contributes to other UX disciplines such as research and content writing. Prior to this, they were a Senior UX Strategist at Vanguard Innovation Studio, where they played a critical role in ensuring user experience and design were integrated into the development of new financial products.

Before their time at Vanguard, Leech had their own web development and consulting business called 3 Spicy Veggies, where they served as the Founding Partner & Chief Creative Officer. Notable clients included the Democratic National Convention and the Little League World Series.

Earlier in their career, Leech worked at the University of Pennsylvania as a Manager of User Experience & Academic Technology. Rebecca managed a team and applied intuitive user experience design principles to IT tools. Rebecca also served as a Senior User Experience Designer at the Graduate School of Education, where they designed the school's web identity and maintained front-end design for multiple websites and applications.

Prior to their roles at the University of Pennsylvania, Leech worked as a Graphic & Web Designer at Cardiometabolic Health Congress and as a Graphic Designer at Small Factory Productions. In the latter role, they were involved in various design projects and assisted in teaching children about story writing and animation.

Rebecca Leech has a diverse education history. In 2005, they attended Rutgers University, where they focused on fine art. Following that, from 2006 to 2009, Rebecca pursued their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and Information Technology at Monmouth University. Later, from 2012 to 2015, they engaged in graduate-level coursework in Biology and Environmental Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Rebecca obtained a certification as a LUMA Certified Facilitator of Human-Centered Design from the LUMA Institute in December 2022.
