Pierre Wachalski

Pierre Wachalski has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and project management. Pierre is currently employed at PulseLife (formerly 360 medics) as a Team Lead. Prior to this, they worked at Bedrock Streaming as a Senior Data Engineer. Pierre also has experience as a Data Engineer at Doctolib, where they were responsible for maintaining the production system, handling data for business intelligence, and enhancing the data platform architecture. Before that, they worked at Openvalue as a Data Scientist/Engineer, where they focused on developing and improving a machine learning-based system for detecting fraudulent transfers in real-time. Pierre also served as an IT Project Manager at Openvalue, where they defined solutions and APIs for delivering real-time services to the online banking system. Pierre's earlier experience includes working as a Junior Consultant in Big Data Technologies at ONEPOINT, where they created a data laboratory platform and automated a monitoring system for batch jobs. Pierre started their career as a Web Developer at Geneanet, where they worked on the development of a genealogical search engine.

Pierre Wachalski completed their education at various institutions. Pierre attended Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) from 2012 to 2017, where they obtained an Engineering Degree in Computer Science. In 2014, they briefly studied at Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria, earning another Engineering Degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2012, they attended Lycée La Herdrie and obtained a Baccalauréat in Science.

In addition to their formal education, Pierre also pursued additional certifications. In October 2018, they completed a specialization in Deep Learning from Coursera. Prior to that, in April 2018, they obtained a certification in Big Data Analysis with Scala and Spark. In February 2018, they completed a course on Functional Programming Principles in Scala. Lastly, in November 2017, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning, also from Coursera.
