Bashir Jivraj

Bashir leads the Corporate Finance operations at 360insights and brings with him 30 years of diversified finance experience which includes strategy, systems implementation and M&A. He is motivated by his desire to bring more excitement to a traditional field and partner with other business units within the company. He enjoys out of the box thinking; driving efficiencies and leveraging technology.

In a previous position as VP of Finance at a North American packaging company, he played a key role in a turnaround that transformed the business from near bankruptcy into a highly profitable organization. Bashir’s career includes tenure at PWC, KPMG and Ernst & Young as well as Canada’s largest tech manufacturer, Celestica.

Bashir holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Tanzania and has CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant), CA (Chartered Accountant), and CMA (Certified Management Accountant) designations. He has international experience from Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Canada.

Bashir, originally from Tanzania, is a father of two who lives in Scarborough with his wife, son and dog. He is a basketball fan, and a self-professed ‘band-wagoner’ for every sport.
