Rami Badran

Rami Badran has had a diverse range of work experience in the field of software engineering and management. Starting in 2005, at Maktoob.com, they worked as a Senior Web Developer, building efficient web applications using PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL. Rami also focused on project architecture and database optimization to handle a high volume of traffic.

In 2009, Rami joined Yahoo! as a Tech Yahoo and Senior Software Apps Development Engineer. Here, they implemented websites, improved functionality, and collaborated with the back-end team. Rami also maintained code repositories using Git and Git Flow.

Moving on to the Middle East Broadcasting Center in 2015, Rami served as a Senior Web Developer, where they developed new features, maintained existing products and websites, and worked on new projects.

In 2016, Rami became a Software Engineering Manager at CASHU, where they led Agile teams in designing, developing, testing, and supporting technical solutions. Rami implemented new features and followed microservices architecture, utilizing technologies such as NodeJS, Java, AngularJS, PHP, and Docker.

In 2018, Rami joined GOcardi as an E-commerce Software Development Manager. Rami built and grew a high-performing team while working with stakeholders to define business requirements. Rami also coached and mentored engineers for career development.

In 2020, Rami became the Head of Engineering at NUR Interactive. Rami provided directions and goals to the business and technology departments and managed and mentored a cross-functional team of engineers.

In 2021, Rami joined NADSoft as the Director of Software Engineering, where they oversaw software development processes and operations.

More recently, Rami worked at 7ellooha as a Software Engineering Manager and Consultant. Rami managed architecture, platform, and data configuration processes, reducing infrastructure costs and building robust applications handling a high volume of traffic.

In 2023, Rami will take on the role of Engineering Leader at genelle and then transition to the position of Senior Engineering Manager at 360Moms.

Throughout their career, Rami has been recognized for their technical leadership, coaching and mentoring skills, and ability to develop and guide collaborative teams. Rami has demonstrated expertise in various technologies and frameworks, and they have consistently delivered high-quality results.

Rami Badran attended Shafiq Irshidat School from 1995 to 2000, where they completed their high school education. Following this, they enrolled at Yarmouk University from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering.
