Margarita Sharkova

Margarita Sharkova has extensive work experience in the field of data science, starting in 2018. Margarita began their career as a Processing Units Repair Technician at Gazprom transgaz Yugorsk in June 2018. Margarita then worked as a Summer Intern at Gazpromneft- NTC in August of the same year.

In 2019, Margarita joined Tatneft as an Engineering Technician from July to August. Margarita then took on the role of Machine Learning Intern at Geonaft from June to August 2020.

In February 2021, Margarita worked as a Researcher at Schlumberger Moscow Research until July. During the same year, they served as a Junior Data Scientist at Digital Petroleum from February to August, and later joined Severstal as a Data Scientist from August 2021 to October 2022.

From October 2022 to April 2023, Margarita worked as a Data Scientist at DrugsIntel. Margarita'smost recent role is as a Data Scientist at 365Scores, where they started in April 2023.

Margarita Sharkova obtained a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering with a specialization in Advanced Simulation and Data Science in Petroleum Industry from Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology. Margarita completed this degree from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering with a focus on the Operation and Maintenance of Transportation and Storage Facilities for Oil, Gas, and Oil Products from the National Mineral Resources University (University of Mines), where they studied from 2015 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Margarita Sharkova has obtained several certifications. These include "AI for Medical Diagnosis" from DeepLearning.AI in June 2023, "Database Structures and Management with MySQL" from Meta in December 2022, "Meta Advanced MySQL Topics" from Meta in November 2022, "Version Control" from Meta in November 2022, "Introduction to Databases" from Meta in October 2022, and "Introduction to SQL" from DataCamp in May 2022.
