Jose Farias

Jose Farias has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Jose 💻 currently works as a Programmer at 37signals. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Technology Committee at Samplex, where they were responsible for leading the technical aspects of the company. Before Samplex, Jose worked as a Senior Product Engineer at Arrows and as a Senior Software Engineer at MagmaLabs.

Jose also has experience as a founder, having served as a Founder-in-Residence at Antler and as a Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Doctu. Additionally, they held various roles at Axented, including Chief Operating Officer, Product Manager & Software Engineer, and Software Engineer.

Earlier in their career, Jose worked as a Growth Engineer at inTeam Digital Workplace, a Business Intelligence Intern at axity, and held multiple internships at SISAMEX - SISTEMAS AUTOMOTRICES DE MEXICO S.A. DE C.V., where they gained experience in project evaluation and manufacturing integration and intelligence.

Jose Farias received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. In 2017, they attended the University of Hull, where they focused on Economics. Additionally, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in February 2020.
