Jesus Varela

Jesus Varela is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in cloud security and information technology management. Currently serving as a Cloud Security Advisor at 38North Security since February 2022, Varela previously held the position of Information Technology Security Manager at BAE Systems from May 2021 to February 2022. Varela's background includes roles as Senior Manager and Senior Consultant at Veris Group, LLC from January 2018 to May 2021, and Information Security Consultant/ISSO at Zachary Piper Solutions from July 2017 to January 2018. Prior experience includes being an ISSO at ALTA IT Services and serving in the United States Marine Corps as a Staff Sergeant and Sergeant, where responsibilities included cybersecurity policy integration and data network management.
