Jorge Martinez-Bazua

Jorge Martinez-Bazua has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Jorge currently holds the position of Director of Product Management at 3A Composites since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Product Management Lead at the same company from October 2021 to July 2022.

Before joining 3A Composites, Jorge held various roles at Berry Global, Inc. from 2009 to 2021. Jorge worked as the Sr. Commercial Director for Nonwovens and FIBC products within the HHS division from March 2019 to May 2021. Earlier, they served as the Sr. Director of Product Marketing from August 2014 to March 2019 and Sr. Director of Sales, Latin America from June 2012 to July 2014. Jorge also served as the Sales and Marketing Director for the Mexico and Central American markets from April 2009 to May 2012.

Jorge's previous experiences include a brief stint as the Business Development professional at MacDermid Performance Solutions in 2009 and various roles at Mabe Corporativo from 1999 to 2008. At Mabe, they held positions such as Product GM, Refrigeration from February 2006 to December 2008, Director of Technology from March 2008 to October 2008, Project Manager from February 2004 to February 2006, Engineering Manager, Refrigeration Products from February 2001 to January 2004, Program Manager, Cooking Products from June 2000 to February 2001, and Marketing Manager for the Argentina Operation from May 1999 to May 2000.

Jorge started their career at GE as a Purchasing Engineer, responsible for procurement, supplier development, and contract negotiations for the Gas Range product line from 1991 to 1992.

Jorge Martinez-Bazua attended Tecnológico de Monterrey from 1982 to 1984, where they earned a High School degree. Jorge then continued their education at Tecnológico de Monterrey from 1984 to 1988, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
