Cole Brown

Cole Brown's work experience begins in 2011 as a Software Engineer at FactSet, where they worked until 2012. Following that, they joined Codecademy as a Software Engineer for a few months before becoming the Lead Software Engineer at drip.fm from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, Cole co-founded Concord Systems, Inc. and remained in that role until 2016 when they started working as a Freelance Programmer/Consultant, offering their expertise in multiple areas including distributed systems and web development. In 2018, they joined Protocol Labs as a Senior Software Engineer, where they contributed to the go-libp2p project and also took on project management responsibilities. In 2019, Cole joined Rhino as a Senior Engineering Manager, overseeing multiple teams and contributing to the development of engineering processes. Cole then moved to Burnt in 2021 as their Director of Engineering, leading the transition from a decentralized NFT marketplace to a Cosmos L1 and Dapp system. Currently, Cole is the Head of Engineering at 3Box Labs, starting in 2023.

Cole Brown attended the University of Rochester from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
