Sarah Hearns

Sarah Hearns has a diverse work experience, showcasing their dedication and expertise in various fields. Sarah began their professional journey as a Research Assistant at SORG in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Colby College, where they took on multiple roles. As an Organic Chemistry Laboratory Teaching Assistant, they provided valuable support to students in their practical work. Sarah also served as an Organic Chemistry Research Assistant and a Department Chemist, demonstrating their aptitude for analytical work. Additionally, Sarah worked as a Private Chemistry Tutor, assisting students outside of the college setting. Furthermore, they served as a Learning Assistant for Physical Chemistry at Colby College, playing a pivotal role in helping students grasp complex concepts. Sarah gained insight into the medical field by working as a Student Shadow at MaineGeneral Health and Cove Pediatrics.
