Mert Bacak

Mert Bacak is a Senior Project Manager at 3D Systems Corporation since May 2023, following an extensive tenure at GE Aviation from August 2015 to April 2023, where Mert served as Lead Design Engineer focusing on turboprop and turbofan engines. Mert's expertise includes executing design changes for safety improvements, conducting Root Cause Analyses, leading manufacturing enhancements, and managing cross-functional teams. Mert possesses a strong background in additive manufacturing, structural parts design, and extensive experience in Finite Element Analysis. Mert's early career includes research roles at TUBITAK and TEI, along with a foundational education in Mechanical Engineering, earning both a Master's and Bachelor's degree from Boğaziçi University between 2008 and 2016.
