Julien Barthes has a diverse work experience starting from 2009. Julien worked as a Research Assistant at RMIT University from July 2009 to January 2010. Then, they interned at Solvay from February 2010 to July 2010. Julien further pursued a PhD at INSERM U1121 from October 2011 to September 2014, where they focused on the development of surface coatings using polymers and natural compounds for various applications. Following their PhD, they worked as a Postdoc Fellow at Inserm U1121 from March 2015 to August 2015. Julien then joined ProtipMedical as a Junior Scientist from September 2015 to January 2017, and later as a Collaborative Project Manager from January 2017 to January 2020. In 2020, they served as a Postdoc Fellow at INSERM u1121 "Biomaterial and Bioengineering" from January 2020 to July 2020. Julien then became an Entrepreneur at 3d.FAB platform from July 2020 to October 2020. Currently, Julien is the CEO of 3Deus Dynamics, a startup that specializes in developing a new additive manufacturing process called "Dynamic Molding".

Julien Barthès' education history begins in 2007 when they enrolled at ECPM Ecole européenne de chimie polymères et matériaux de Strasbourg. There, they pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Polymer Science, completing their studies in 2011. Following this, from 2011 to 2014, they attended université strasbourg UDS and obtained a Master's degree in Physical Chemistry Polymer. In 2015, Julien pursued further education at the Faculty of Pharmacy Nancy-Lorraine, where they completed a DU Animal Experiment Level 1, specializing in In vivo Test.
