Juan Munoz

Juan is a senior fellow at 3ie. He has devoted his professional career to the design and implementation of household, impact evaluation business and agricultural surveys. As a founding member of Sistemas Integrales, a leading company in the field since 1970, participated in the development of ARIEL, one of the first-ever statistical packages, and other survey-support applications.

He has advised national statistical offices, international development agencies, universities, and private clients of over 100 countries on sampling, questionnaire design, fieldwork organization and survey data management.

He has conducted training programs on survey methods for the World Bank and other agencies, and has taught at universities in Chile, the UK and the US.

Juan is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.
