Melisa Melling

Melisa Melling is a distinguished partner at 3L, a private equity firm focused on investing in emerging growth companies, where investment strategies emphasize M&A and creative financing to support innovative founders and management teams. Prior to joining 3L in September 2023, Melisa served as a partner and head of investor relations/CAO at Lion Point Capital from September 2014 to September 2023. Earlier experience includes a directorial role in business development and government affairs at Mason Capital Management LLC, as well as positions in marketing and investor relations at One East Partners, and as a financial advisor at Citi Smith Barney. Melisa holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Organizational Leadership from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Princeton University. Educational foundations were laid at Harbor Day School and Corona del Mar High School.
