Peter Olson

Peter Olson is currently the General Counsel for the Safety and Industrial Business Group at 3M. Prior to this, they were the Associate General Counsel and Assistant Chief IP Counsel for the Safety and Graphics Business Group at 3M Company from January 1990 to December 2019.

Peter Olson earned their Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.

They work with Laurie Altman - VP & GM, Automotive Aftermarket Division, Roland Lang - Head of Finance, Safety and Industrial Business Group Operations, and Teresa Crockett - VP of Operations, Safety and Industrial Business Group. Their manager is Michael G. Vale, Group President, Safety & Industrial.
