Rich Prokop has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in the tech industry. Rich is currently a Senior Engineer at 3nets.io, a position they started in March 2021. In 2000, Rich joined Alteon WebSystems, a start-up that was later acquired by Nortel Networks. Rich worked as a Senior Software Engineer, overseeing UI and networking configuration. Their strong problem-solving skills led him to work closely with top customers, including Google, Disney, Universal Studios, and Ticketmaster, to resolve critical issues.

From 2002 to 2006, Rich worked as a Senior Diagnostics Software Engineer at Nortel Networks. Rich revitalized the underperforming diagnostics engineering platform and designed and implemented the entire software diagnostics architecture for Nortel embedded switches.

Prior to Nortel Networks, Rich worked at Blade Network Technologies from February 2006 to January 2011. Rich joined the startup as one of the original employees and played a crucial role in the development of embedded and top-of-rack system diagnostics. The company was eventually acquired by IBM.

Throughout their career, Rich has demonstrated expertise in software engineering, architecture, diagnostics, and network hardware. Rich has a proven track record of solving complex problems and contributing to the success and reputation of the companies they have worked for.
