Daniel Parsons

Daniel Parsons is an experienced professional currently serving as Roads Policing Sergeant, Commercial Vehicle Sergeant, and Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor at the City of London Police since July 2021. Prior to this role, Daniel had a lengthy career with Essex Police, holding various positions from Police Officer to Roads Policing Sergeant over 24 years. In addition to law enforcement, Daniel has been active in Scouting since the 1990s, currently acting as Group Scout Leader at 3rd Chalkwell Bay Sea Scouts, overseeing a large group of over 200 youth and 100 adult members recognized by HM the Queen with the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. Daniel's extensive background in both policing and community service through Scouting highlights strong leadership and safety management skills, further supported by an educational foundation including studies at the University of Greenwich.
