Dr. François Laruelle is CTO of 3SP Technologies, where he is responsible for overseeing the research and development of III-V lasers and photodiodes devices & modules as well as the related reliability studies.
He joined the company on 31 July 2003. Dr. François Laruelle has extensive expertise and experience of III-V semiconductors, reliability and telecommunications technologies and markets. Prior to joining 3SP Technologies, Dr. Laruelle as involved in the 980 nm pump chip technology transfer from Alcatel Research & Innovation to Alcatel-Optronics and held an academic position at the French National Center for Scientific Research in the field of synthesis and physical studies of III-V semi-conductor nano-structures. He is the author or co-author of more than 120 technical & scientific publications in international journals or conference proceedings.
Dr. François Laruelle graduated from Ecole Polytechnique, Palaiseau France and holds a PhD. in Physics from Paris-Sud University, Orsay, France. He also completed a post-doctoral Research Fellowship at the Material Department of the University of California at Santa Barbara, USA.
