VP Ecommerce at 3Z Brands

Steve Catanzaro has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Steve currently holds the role of VP Ecommerce at 3Z Brands since the start of 2023, where they are responsible for the ecommerce strategy and marketing for Bear Mattress. Previously, they worked at Bear Mattress from 2017 to 2023, starting as the Director of User Experience before being promoted to Director of Ecommerce and eventually VP Ecommerce. During their tenure at Bear Mattress, they played a key role in shaping the brand and implementing effective ecommerce operations.

Before their time at Bear Mattress, Steve worked at Reelio as the Lead UX Designer from 2013 to 2017, where they were responsible for designing and refining user experiences. Steve also conducted usability sessions and created wireframes and prototypes. In 2015, they worked at General Assembly as a Designer In Residence, where they facilitated an active learning environment for professionals, helping them acquire new skills and knowledge.

Steve's work experience also includes roles at SynApps Media as a User Interface Designer and Consultant in 2013, EGR International as a Freelance Visual Designer from 2013 to 2014, and as a Freelance Digital/Graphic Designer from 2004 to 2013, where they explored creative challenges and developed various projects for clients. Additionally, they worked as a Freelance Illustrator at Connected Ventures in 2013 and as a Senior Designer and Studio Artist at JWT from 2007 to 2013, specializing in logo and branding design, print and web layouts, and illustration. Lastly, they worked as a Studio Artist/Production Artist at BBDO from 2004 to 2007, focusing on print production for advertising campaigns.

Steve Catanzaro began their education at The College of New Jersey, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from 1999 to 2003. In 2012, they attended the School of Visual Arts for Continuing Education, focusing on advanced techniques with Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery. Additionally, in 2011 to 2012, Steve pursued Continuing Education at the School of Visual Arts, specializing in Introduction to iPhone/iPad Development (SDK, Xcode, Obj-C).

Furthermore, in 2013, they attended General Assembly to study User Experience Design. In terms of certifications, Steve obtained the Google Analytics Platform Principles certification from Google in April 2014.
