Agile Tester at 42 Lines

Dan Woodward is a software quality engineer with experience in test automation, management, and consulting. Dan currently works as an agile tester at 42 Lines.

Woodward began their career in software quality at AQS Inc. in 2006, where they served as a test lead and quality analyst. Dan later moved to RedPrairie Corporation in 2008, where they oversaw investigation and implementation of test automation tool selection campus wide as a Senior Quality Services Technology Consultant. In this role, they also managed a team of four testers who regularly partnered with Development.

Under Woodward's direction, the FitNesse framework was extended to include a driver for testing REST and SOAP interfaces. Dan also architected improvements to Selenium-based driver, including use of WebDriver. These improvements increased logging and diagnostics while adding unit tests.

As a consultant, Woodward provided assistance to test teams at other campuses adopting web and API tools. Dan has also served as a Campus Test Manager at Rockwell Automation and a Software QA & Test Automation Analyst at STAMP Technologies.

Dan Woodward has a Bachelor of Arts in Writing Intensive English from Marquette University.
