Clement Boucher

Clement Boucher has extensive work experience in the drilling industry. Clement most recently worked as a Drilling Manager at 45-8 ENERGY since September 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Drilling Engineer at CFG from January 2022 to December 2022. From July 2020 to December 2021, they worked at ENGIE Solutions France as a Geothermal Projects Management - Drilling Specialist. Before that, they worked as a Drilling Supervisor at Addax Petroleum from June 2018 to October 2019, Vermilion Energy from January 2018 to March 2018, and KEM ONE from September 2017 to December 2017. Clement also worked as a Drilling Engineer at Foxtrot International from May 2015 to October 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a Drilling Supervisor at a consultancy from December 2012 to April 2015. Their previous experience includes working as a Night Drilling Supervisor at TOTAL from February 2007 to December 2012, where they worked in various locations such as Angola (on a Drillship), Gabon (on a Jack-up), and Gabon (on a Land rig). Clement started their career as a Data Engineer at Geoservices from October 2004 to February 2007.

Clement Boucher has a diverse education history. In 2002 to 2003, they attended IUT Mesures-physiques Bordeaux 1, where they obtained a DUT Mesures-physiques degree in Physics. In 2008, they underwent Total drilling & completion training at IFP-ENSPM. In the same year, they also received training at Next (Schlumberger industry training). Later, from 2014 to 2016, Clement pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Drilling and well engineering at Robert Gordon University.

In addition to their formal education, Clement has acquired several certifications. Clement completed the FOET/BOSIET (OPITO) training, including HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) and EBS (Emergency Breathing System), in March 2019 from ALL STOP! Survival & Safety Training. In September 2018, they obtained the IWCF Level 4 "subsea supervisor" certification from Murchison Drilling Schools, Inc. Clement further expanded their skill set by obtaining the Python Data Science certification from IBM in February 2020 and the Introduction to Programming Using Python certification from Georgia Institute of Technology in December 2019.
