Javier Martínez Jiménez

Javier Martínez Jiménez has been working in the software engineering industry since 2015. Javier began as a Software Developer Internship at everis, then moved to Tecsisa in 2016 where they held the roles of Scala Software Architect, Scrum Master, and Scala Software Engineer. In 2022, they joined 47 Degrees | Part of Xebia as a Senior Software Engineer. At Tecsisa, they were a member of the Architecture team and was responsible for helping with the high-level design choices of the Kommodo platform, as well as providing support to the development teams to take engineering and technical decisions. Javier was also in charge of designing and developing common tools and libraries to boost the development teams’ productivity. At Tecsisa, they were also responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of a cloud-native application suite for the electric power industry and global utility companies.

Javier Martínez Jiménez obtained their Grado en Ingeniería Informática from Universidad de Jaén between 2010 and 2017, and their Computer Science degree from Universidade Estadual de Campinas between 2010 and 2017. Additionally, they hold three certifications: Kubernetes: Basic Architecture and First Deployment from Coursera obtained in September 2022, Introducción a Scala from Habla Computing obtained in February 2016, and Programación funcional en Scala from Habla Computing also obtained in February 2016.
