Johan Engstrom

Johan Engstrom has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Johan currently works at 4C Strategies as a Software Account Manager and Senior Consultant, where they are responsible for managing Nordic SW accounts and supporting clients in achieving their desired business and organizational impact using Exonaut®. Johan was also awarded the 4C Annual Results Award in 2022. Prior to this, Johan was associated with Nordic Consulting Group (NCG) Sweden as an Associated Consultant and Advisor, focusing on digitalization, program management, and business development. Johan played a crucial role in introducing a framework for digital transformation, supporting the development of a digital marketing platform, and formulating strategies for digital innovation and growth. Johan also helped in opportunity mapping, commercial viability assessment, raising funds, and establishing business partnerships. Before joining NCG, Johan worked at FCG Swedish Development AB for over a decade, initially as a Project Manager and Consultant and later as the Head of Business Development and Strategic Growth Initiatives. During their time at FCG, they were responsible for winning and managing various projects, negotiating international joint ventures and business consortia, and expanding the company's turnover significantly. Johan also recruited consultants and led change and educational projects across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. Johan's experience also includes working as an Intrapreneur and Programme Director at Sync Accelerator, where they played a vital role in establishing the company as a leading IT recruitment agency, achieving profitability, and growing revenue by 250%. Additionally, they have worked as an Organizational Adviser at Forum Syd and as a Stagiaire at the European Commission. Overall, Johan Engstrom possesses extensive expertise in software account management, senior consulting, digital transformation, business development, project management, and strategic growth initiatives.

Johan Engstrom's education history begins in 1996 when they enrolled at Stockholm University. Johan pursued a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Political Science, Spanish, Sociology, and Business Administration. In 1998, Johan participated in the Erasmus program at the Master level at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, focusing on Ciencias Políticas. After completing their undergraduate studies, Johan went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in International Political Economy at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2001 to 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Johan Engstrom has obtained several certifications. These include a Certificate in Negotiation Mastery from Harvard Business School Online in February 2023, a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner certification from Prosci in June 2020, and a certification in Building the Business Model for Corporate Entrepreneurs from the University of Maryland in October 2019.
